** GENESIS RISING RUN FIX **

I hope this share with the community helps you get this game running. I know it's not the best game, but whoever purchases it should be able to at the very least play it! Very simple, easy user fix. Follow the instructions and I hope it helps!

Go to your LIBRARY of your games, then RIGHT CLICK the genesis rising avatar. Go to the very bottom of the game to PROPERTIES and LEFT CLICK it. Remove the tick mark in the box for "Enable steam community In-Game". Click CLOSE. Then normally RUN the game. Yes, you will get (mine) count of "12" errors trying to run it. Keep clicking OK until VIOLA! Your game should run fine. Every time you want to play this game, you have to do the same RUN procedure of spamming it. NOT the library setup. Cheers! UPDATE. I've noticed after playing through the first two tutorials, you can replace the tick mark for community? But you still have to spam the loader 12 times when it prompts for you to click OK. Weird.

Did you create the "save" and other missing folders? Cause I don't get a single error message on launch.

I bought this game 3 year ago and i'm still disappointed and disgusted cause the game never works, not only at the start menu whith this ****** problem of run, but when i want to play a party against Ai OR players or even launch the story misison, it's not working, the game is blocked with the genesis red screen with the big head of ship and, it keep staying blocked, nothing happens, so i regret having bought this game, it's a scam, and the first time i see such problem with STEAM ..... Now i don't buy anymore game on STEAM cause i fear to be scam again.

3 things
A. it wasn't a scam, your computer couldn't run the game or its the games fault. Steam has nothing to do with it.
B. The whole point of this thread is to show how to fix the problems with the game.
and finally:
C. If you don't want to use steam any more, WHY ARE YOU STILL ON STEAM?

Even by following your explanations the game do'nt works and keep crashing, the campaign mission don't works, the ship of iconah and all of the other ship do'nt appears, it's just a scam.
I removed the tick mark : '' enable the steam communauty in game '' it keep not working... so i just uninstall and ask to the support for my money back.

That will not happen. steam does not refund. thats how things work
But i would still know what im doing wrong. I would like to play this

This game is a scam anyways :( it's not working, there is only 4 ship you can build and so very few or sort of weapon, i just deleted it and playing better games.
