Are there micro-transactions?
I mean, if I'm going to pay $20 for a poker game, especially when there are multiple free games and sites out there, I probably shouldn't be dealing with mico-transactions, right?

There are micro transactions to buy chips.. which is completely mind boggling to me. I get that your a business and want to make more money, but selling chips imo destroys the integrity of the game. What's more is unlike most online poker games, you have created a cool system where there are mechanics in place to build you bank roll.

This makes no sense to me. If you want to make money with a poker game, let people bet real money? Oh well, I won't be buying this. I'll go play poker... on a website? You know, where I can actually play real poker? Stupid game design and greed. $20 isn't enough? You really need to charge people to buy chips too?

I was going to buy this game. Then I saw that there was chip microtransactions. Pass for now :(

Once you learn how to dupe the AI poker games lose their appeal real fast. With microtransactions present I don't even have to play the game to know I don't want it.

There's already a Poker game on Steam called 'Four Kings Casino & slots' that's free to play with optional microtransactions. Why the hell would i pay for this game & go down that path again? All i want is a simple game like 'Texas hold 'em' Poker that was on Xbox 360 here on PC...Is it so much to ask when i'm ready to pay for something like that?

Apparently so. I'm not spending $20 to play a poker game that includes micro-transactions when theres are FREE options all around the internet.

Was an instant buy. Then I read micro transactions. Thanks but no

I will say this...its worth buying on Playstation 4 at least. A part of the charm is to say buy 1-20 mill chips then build your bankroll upp from there. this is a beautifull looking game and stands out compared to most out there. So there is no shame in buying it

Four Kings Casino looks SO dated and ugly compared to Pure Holdem. And they only have 5000 chips buyin on tournamen

The microtransactions are an add-on, they are not required to play the game. You can play the Jokers table and get free credits everyday.

would love to buy some chips, but it's always saying that there are no products available to purchase

Hey, just had a look and we can see the chip packs available in game for us. Are you entering the in-game store through the 'purchase credits' button?
Scarrings Nov 9, 2017 @ 2:02pm
i do push the purchase credits button in main menu yes

Please could you record or take a screenshot of this happening and send it to info@ripstone.com? We're not sure why this is happening and are currently unable to reproduce the issue. Thanks for your support!

Was going to buy the game, but seeing as it's a paid game and not free, but still uses a F2P system with microtransactions, I'll pass.

Way to be greedy, developers. For a $20 game, this should be designed to function like a paid game and not a F2P game.
