I have x-plane and its a good tool and "game" when you want some fun
Normally these RC products are used with adapters which allow to us connect our actual Model Radio controllers to the PC for use in the simulator, which is the only way to actually get decent training. An xbox controller would be a distant second best.
The real RC plane doesn't have a reset button this does. And you're not getting crap for a plane for the cost of this game.
I like both sims :-)
I have been flying RC planes and helicopters for years. I found Aerofly simulates tip stall's at the correct (or close to correct) speeds that allows someone to actually learn 3D flight on an rc plane correctly, most large scale plane simulators don't simulate this correctly.
Besides, even the price of the highest tier wouldn't get me one servo for one wing on my 36% Sbach, its much cheaper to crash planes in a sim.
so because your pc can only run COD @30fps everything else is crap LOL.
This Aerofly RC 7 is getting more time then X-10 or my older FSX with Orbx add on's. They all have their merits.
Sure, but consider the amount of time and cost to fix that real plane while practicing to fly with it..
Of course depends on plane and amount of experience but you'll quickly find it worth the cost to practice virtually before destroying one of the more expensive RC planes there are.. Especially with helicopters the training is worth it.
The planes included with it are not good, you do need to buy a properly made addon for a decent plane for it.
X-Plane itself has just the simulation code that is good, the free planes are mostly examples of what you can do with it.
This isn't the forum to discuss X-Plane so let's end it here.
