Balancing? Mods? My issues with this game (Not my review, just issues).
I'd like to first ask, are there any mods for this game to make it better? I'm not talking about graphical mods, but ones that make the game itself more immersive?

Now, I'll move on to my issues with the game:

My first issue is how easily dinosaurs track you down. especailly when you're walking. I don't know how often I'll tell osmeone to stop walking and all of a sudden two T-Rexes will come from who knows how far away to eat us. It's as if as soon as you start walking, Every single dinosaur on the entire map knows where you are. This goes double for when you sprint.

I think it'd be an awesome update if we didn't have to crouch the entire game.

Lets not forget, you could be in the prone position and a utahraptor will still, after a few minutes of akwardly standing there without a purpose, spot you and eat you. This also happens with the T-Rex. I've had times where I waited for twenty minutes for a T-Rex or UtahRaptor to leave. Sometimes they never do.

I'd also like crafting, creating shelters, traps, and fortifications. It really makes no sense for the whole point of the game to searcha round crates for objects, and spend no time trying to survive. Also, all of the forts or bases that are already in this game are completely useless. There is no safe area you would be able to live in or survive in.

Next issue, Dinosaurs do not interact with eachother, whatsoever. It'd be an awesome mechanic if the Utah Raptor and the T-Rex faught eachother, and would attempt to eat eachother's corpses. It would also make the Triceritops horn not completely useless.

Also, where are the rocks I keep hearing about? I've never seen a rock I could throw. Shouldn't you be able to just pick up a rock at any point of this island to use? I mean rocks shouldn't be rare.

The bow is weak, and really poorly made. I think the fact that you're required to scope in (scope in with a bow?) is ridiculous, same with the gun. It makes firing the bow clunky. Lets not forget how slowly you fire the bow. I get it, in a relaxed setting you'd take your time to pull back that arrow and fire. But when you're being attacked by a wild, poorly scripted Utah Raptor, you don't really have time to stop, scope in/slowly pull back the arrow, fire, return the bow down to a relaxed comfortable position slowly and then repeat... The gun doesn't waste nearly as much time, but it's still an unnecessary feature demanding the player scope in with the gun to fire it. I think it should be optional, and only give an increase to accuracy.

Also, lets make it take a few less arrows to kill a Utah Raptor or T-Rex. Five arrows two a Utah Raptor should kill it, if it's a legitimate arrow and not a weak twig with a rock jammed on. And one shot from the .308 should kill it instantly, especially to balance the extremely loud noise of the gunshot.

Moving through water and marshes are ridiculous, especially marshes. It's the random invisible walls that really piss me off, or the times where the water's a centimeter too deep and I have to stand, attracting all the dinosaurs in the game immediately.

Lastly, this game needs some kind of game-winning goal, or something to do besides look for ♥♥♥♥...

You do know this game was just released in early access, its basically in Alpha. Also, you think a raptors not going to eat you, if you laying face down on the ground?

You can one-shot a raptor with the arrow. You can definitely do it with a .308.

You aren't playing Skyrim, the dinosaurs won't magically forget about you if you 'hide' for 60 seconds. They can smell, and they can hear. I have not had a problem with being found from far away. Rule of thumb for T-Rex: If you can hear their footsteps, you should be crouched.

I do agree that the dinosaurs should interact with each other as well, but I wouldn't ask the dev team to worry about that until they have added the dinosaurs in that they want.
