in none those movies or games they seemed to be this scarry in some case they even know to defend them self but the small size tell it all wish this dino get a little tune up :)
I fully agree with this. They should act and charge like a Rhino when they get the chance, also their run animation seems abit wierd, looks like the devs put the Bear running animation from theHunter on it, lets hope it's just a placeholder for Early Access :)
Utahraptor-Yeah, that one's actually half-arsed.
Triceratops-2 reasons; First one is an earlier relative called Psittacosaurus[upload.wikimedia.org], which had quills, and the second one is skin impressions[bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com] from one Triceratops nicknamed "Lane," which had strange nods on its body leading some experts to assume they anchored quills.
You also gotta remember that in various ways, The Hunter's been known to be "realistic".
In Jurassic Park, the velociraptor is depicted as 2 meters tall and highly inteligent, and they even go as far as saying that, if it wasn't for the mass extinction, velociraptors would be the dominant species and not man. Since they (in the movie) showed signs of high intelligence and lived together and had all sorts of social behaviours between them.
If anything, this game is actually portraying dinosaurs as they supposedly were, and just about everything on Jurassic Park isn't really true.
If you didn't know, a velociraptor was about the size of a dog or a big turkey. And dinosaurs weren't really all that bright and had small brains.
Again, this is all an assumption.
How can one really know all these things. But based on evidence and studies, that is the current theory. Dinosaurs had feathers and the living descendants, the evolution of dinosaurs are birds.
If you want to learn more, I suggent you do a research. Its not that hard.
By saying this I might sound like I dont like Jurassic Park. Don't get me wrong, I love it! I love dinosaurs. I grew up watching Jurassic Park and the famous T-Rex. And that is why a lot of people dont accept this current view on dinosaurs, cause its nothing like what they grew up with and watched and loved.
With that said, I actually came to love the current take on dinosaurs. Personally I think this particular T-Rex, the one on the game, looks really good.
It was confirmed last year by a paleontologist who worked with the film that Spielberg (and the crew) wanted designs they could copyright, but since you can't do that with real animals, they had to stylized the dinosaur anatomy, hence the midget-Dilo with the umbrella, Oversized raptors among others. So legally speaking, people aren't supposed to use JP's designs. While it clearly backfired, it's better telling now than hold off until it's too late.
Pretty funny that you mention Carnotaurus as I believe Paleontologists found that it is so far the only Theropod that had no feathers or quills what so ever. Plus the fact that it is believed to be one of the fastest Theropods could make for a challenging animal to hunt in this game while also keeping it featherless to appeal to those who like that while staying accurate.
