Join me lets have fun & enjoy this update.
I love the extended variety of loadouts and perks.
Good news for co-op, but restricting it to epic accounts is a sword cutting through water. It wont be too popular on steam and wont give that many data for improvements. Hopefully devs find a way to play co-op without epic.
Otherwise, some things I'd like so see in the game :
- litterally the game... it's too dark in there ! I understand the Doom 3 vibe here with power shutdown and flashlight, but it's really not fitting a roguelike imo, especially one in which aiming is important. I prefer clarity over atmosphere. It also makes all the levels look/feel the same eventually.
- more varied environnements. Gameplay variety is cool, but exploring the same map parts over and over again makes it redundant regardless, and quickly here.
- more interactions with environnements. Breakable props, hidden/secret reward, kickable barrels, doors choice after area completion etc.
- ability to scrap items we don't want to pick up, like a key to hold when you are close to it.
Also, I agree with the first comment. There will likely be quite a bit of backlash about the mandatory Epic account. That alone got my friend to decide NOT to download and play.
