As let down as I am the PvPvE version of this was abandoned ~ I'm going to try and judge this one on its own merits.

The core feel of the game is solid as it always was: it feels rather a lot like playing the older Halo games, especially with the floaty jumps. The foundation is good!

Things I'd like to adjust:

Minimap Zoom - It's way too zoomed in to be particularly useful.

Enemy Health - This is probably a big work in progress, but on the higher difficulties the red assault bots can take an entire rifle magazine to the head and not die. Now, I realize that early on in the game your guns suck, but the red assault rifle bots especially are incredibly beefy compared to the other enemies. Maybe there needs to be an intermediate yellow tier assault rifle bot to fill that gap between red and purple? As is, they remain excessively beefy until about halfway through the game at which point everything starts to melt. Part of this is due to the fact that the enemies remain the same throughout the run so far as I can tell, in terms of their stats. I think there's room to have more 'grades' of enemies to differentiate earlier in a run vs later.

Weapon Damage - Related to the above, some weapons feel absolutely anemic unless they are god rolled and beefed up, at which point they still underperform.

Reloads - You guys desperately need to implement staged reloads. Restarting the entire animation approaches being immersion-breaking especially when they are so detailed - you even have different animations for tactical and empty loads already! Just add staging so that they can be resumed if you interrupt them with a melee or grenade, please.

Ping Option - Add an option to ping whatever you are looking at for your team-mates!

Randomized Rooms - Given the enormous variety of rooms available from the prior iteration of this title, it's a bit of a letdown to see the same rooms get re-used every run. Even the setpiece rooms could be expanded upon - be it a series of rooms before or after - and the contents of the setpieces rearranged for some variety.

Loot Containers - Please add lootable chests and things to reward actually looking around the map. If the chests contained stuff that was at or slightly above the current level they would be worth looking for.

Loot Scrapping - Let us scrap items that we don't want.

Lighting - Make lighting matter again! Let us shoot out lights to lower enemy accuracy or awareness.

Enemy LOS / Awareness - Right now the enemies see you through the backs of their heads. It's extremely binary: If you are in LOS they see you, no matter what. Please given them vision cones and 'awareness' states. The same could be said of damage and explosives: You can throw explosives around corners and damage enemies but they won't aggro - while using 'ricochet' bullets will aggro any enemy hit by the gunfire. Get some consistency going here please? I get that you're supposed to be able to carefully aggro one dude at a time and lure them to you on high difficulty - but not being able to sneak around for an advantage kind of shoots that in the foot.

Weapons - Please bring back the fun and interesting weapons like the Spinfusor! There's so much room here for things other than Assault Rifle and Assault Rifle with Blue Bullets.

Reward Rerolls - Give is rerolls for perk and reward selection please, especially the initial 'gold' primary perk. These define your entire run and sometimes you just get garbage options or options you really don't feel like using.

Oh I forgot one, this one is as much accessibility as convenience:
'Semi Auto' and burst weapons ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck to use if you have any sort of impairment. Just make them shoot while you hold down the button, please. Spamming mouse isn't anyone's idea of a good time.
Multiplayer Progress Blocks -
There are a few of these:
1) Getting stuck inside the airlock if people start fighting while someone is behind
2) If a player joins a lobby in progress, it will spawn a reward orb for them with no way to pick up and continue
3) If a player dies during the pause after a room is cleared, they never respawn
4) Sometimes players just die forever
Grenade Damage - It's awful. Even a full build into grenade damage is absolute trash. These need massive improvement as well as WAY more significant upgrades if they are going to keep up with something like a weakpoint or close-range build.
Shotguns - Very inconsistent performance. The auto shotgun is miiiiiles ahead of the competition. The double barrel needs to do something like 5x as much damage as it does currently to have a chance of competing

More on reloads - Why is my dude cocking the gun after a reload from empty? Is there no hold-open device? C'mon!
Mostly very solid feedback, thanks for taking the time to write it out and hopefully the devs read it and can implement a lot of it. My maaaain gripe is it needs rerolls, badly. But you added a lot of nice touches,

Appreciate the open mind! We mainly use Discord for feedback (discord.gg/deadzonerogue), definitely recommend joining if you're interested and posting notes there so we can see it more easily. Just put out a new update and think it addresses some of what you had there as well

For some reason the dead zone discord link for me is blocked. But I would like to see a toggle to ADS option.

I played for 70 minutes and refunded, maybe i'll buy it after early access,
combat is fun, but gets repetitive fast
you die and must go through the same maps, same enemies again
+ add random objectives, like eliminate target, hold position, de/activate devices, etc (mass effect 3 multiplayer is good example) and that objective gives a reward like a better weapon, gear, skill, robot, etc

randomize maps, same difficulty but a different map
controller support is not good, improve that,
+select starting weapon(after unlocking it)

+add an ultimate skill, like a shockwave or blastwave that kills or stuns all enemies around you or invisibility or heal or increase weapon damage, etc (black ops cold war , alins firetea elite and borderlands are good examples)

+fix matchmaking and coop mode, make it easy to find players and join, allow players to join anytime or host public game and other players join at any time

add some kind of "main objective" after 3 or 5 or 10 maps, or an extrqaction, what is the main bojective now? unknown

+chracter customization would be nice
