That's common till they fix it. You'll see other nvidia users having problem too.
i have rtx 3080 with 576.28 driver and no issues.
it's nothing new, nvidia has often released broken driver updates.
my suggestion to everyone, DO NOT update drivers unless there's absolute need for it, like if some game forces you to update drivers.
driver updates don't give you anything really, if there's some new game and nvidia specifically mentions in patch notes that there are crash fixes or performance boost for specific games, then you can update, but from experience, those "performance boosts" don't really give anything.
also i'd like to mention that i had my GPU power saving turned on and it caused regular crashes, i had to disable power saving. i have seen it cause issues in some other games aswell, but honestly it doesn't save any power. my GPU uses about 43w of power when idle (2 monitors) and power saving does not change power usage at all when idle, so not much point using it to begin with. so if anyone has it on, it's worth trying to turn it off. it can also be related to nvidia drivers, that power saving works on some version of drivers, but not on others.
Having said that I saw that the game released a patch today that I still have to try, soon I'll play and do a test, I also installed the last of us which if I'm not mistaken does not have the unreal engine and I want to see if the game crashes there... I'll do some tests and update here for those who have the same problems as me, but I think as I was told by more than one person that I know you will simply have to wait for a patch either from nvidia or from the programmers of the game itself.
first one was a memory access crash, second one was complaining about the date.
switch to AMD buddy
