Suggestion: Salvage ground loot
Can you make it so we can salvage loot on the ground into scrap? I feel like that could help with some perks and the fabricator, plus I feel bad leaving valuable stuff on the ground behind. I'd like to carry some of that worth into the next areas! Maybe an inventory to store old equipment?

if you think about it its not really necessary and it would be detrimental to multiplayer.
cause it would disable the "one mans trash is another mans treasure" factor.

once you get your scrap income perk maxed out you tend to get more than enough

I second this. But my main point is, that I want to be sure, I looked at the item and compared it. Especially with the feat that scrap is collected automatically, it's sometimes hard/annoying to tell, which items you have already checked.
TBH, I don't think we need a scrapper option on DE-FO. It'd hurt the economy and balance more than help. But if they were to implement one...

Item that summons a robot M.U.L.E. (Mobile Utility Logistics Engine) to carry up to 3 unwanted loot items.
・Face an item on the ground, press [Q] / [G] / [ctrl] or whatever, instead of [E], to have the mule carry it.
・Once stored, you can’t retrieve it on the venue. Choose carefully.
・You can’t drop items inside the shop to pick them up so you scrap them.
・At the store, you can sell the loot carried by the M.U.L.E..
・Sale price is 1/100 to 1/1000 of original price (higher rank means lower rate).
・The mule doesn’t fight or get targeted, but if hit by stray fire or hazards and destroyed, you lose 1–3 carried items.
・Looks like a one-eyed robot withfour legs. The legs are decorative; it actually flies using 4D anti-gravitational energy.
・On the market, these trusty haulers go by the name Porter RØbonson MCMXCII™, renowned for lugging the impossible and never asking for a break.


1st Weapon Choice Alternative
・At level 1 completion, instead of picking from 3 weapons, choose the 4th option: Rental Mule.
・You get M.U.L.E. 𝐈 immediately, but at a -1000 credit debt you must repay.


Porter RØbonson™ 𝐈𝐈 (Upgrade, requires Porter RØbonson™ 𝐈)
・Carry 2 more items (total 5).
・Stored loot can now be brought alongside your main/sub weapons, sold at 1/50 to 1/500 of original price.
・50% chance to lose 1–3 carried items on death.


Porter RØbonson™ 𝐈𝐈𝐈 (Upgrade)
・Carry 2 more items (total 7).
・Sale rate improves to 1/25 to 1/250.
・15% chance to lose 1 carried item on death.
