Probably due to the new resolution scaling option (even at 100%)"
On the Steam Deck I would not call it blurry but there is some weird thing going on with the edges. Almost like a reverse or moving anti-aliasing effect. Could also be resolution scaling like you said.
I will say the controller works better with the Steam Deck now but was a PITA to configure because it keeps trying to assign double button presses to things (like A + B when you only want to assign A). The feature for allowing multiple buttons to activate a command is a cool concept but really annoying it seems to falsely pick up a second keystroke most of the time. Before the update I used a M&K config as a controller input which also worked but I liked the new joystick input 'curves' better than the raw mouse input before.
Also agree progression seems nerfed, it feels really hard to build permanent upgrades compared to the old system.
Also there seems to be a button you can sell / recycle unused upgrades you can bind but I cannot make it work. Perhaps this feature is not implemented?
Speaking of button bindings....there is zero reason that the same key cannot be used for reload and "use" (or activate). Most other FPS games of the last 15 years have this assigned to the same key. The game just defaults to activation (as opposed to reload) when there is an on-screen prompt for activating something. Simple.
Oh and scoped rifles are neat but they really need to have their sensitivity way scaled down
Upgrade system seems improved (now not hidden on a back screen) and also the currency to buy permanent upgrades has been altered so they seem a little bit quicker to earn.
There could be other changes but I didn't find them.
The big robotic boss is a super bullet sponge however is pretty easy to cheese just by dashing. I do not like that change. I thought the prior boss difficulty and attack style was far superior, even if he did manage to corner you to the point you couldn't escape sometimes.
I forgot to mention I do like the newer level designs and also the mine launcher guys, plug the shield bots are neat add..
Spiders are still hyper annoying.... I can't stand that room. I pretty much hate any enemy in a FPS that requires shooting near the floor when there are bunches of them. Just feels like a hassle.
When in a room with shield grunts, I froze two at once with a single cryo grenade (I was in stealth mode, so they didn't have time to react). But regardless they were shooting their burst at me WHILE FROZEN.
Would allow you not to hunt around looking for suggestions among all the ranting and trolls.
FWIW I cannot get Discord to send me a confirmation email. Tried 3 different email addresses in an attempt to get an account setup so my ranting will probably be stuck on Steam.
