Network performance issues
After about 15-20 minutes in any lobby, there seems to be some network issues in the game that result in desync/hit registration/player stutter for the person who is not the host.

The network stats do not indicate any packet loss (ping never exceeds 50ms regardless of host).

This causes the non-host player to stutter slightly as they move around (not FPS stutter, more like rubber banding) and also causes hit registration issues when exceeding a certain fire rate. For example, the minigun becomes totally useless for the non-host player as hits stop registering past a certain point.

My poorly educated guess would be that there is an issue with the game's network update rate from the host. We can fix it temporarily by restarting the lobby, but within 20 minutes its back again which means just as the run is starting to ramp, the connected player becomes significantly less effective due to the more difficult movement, inconsistent hit registry and a general "laggy" feeling.

For reference, both my friend and I have high performance gaming machines with fast, low latency internet and do not have issues in any other games.

Has anyone else experienced this? Again, it doesn't happen right away, gameplay is fine for about 15-20 minutes and then it immediately becomes noticeable. At the moment we are alternating who's host so we both get to experience the game as intended (being the host).

I second this, I've been finding the same exact thing.

Seems once you get bots the game starts to lag for some people.

yup i play solo and i get what oddly feels like packet loss. some inputs like changing weapons, ads, jumping, shooting just doesnt register, meaning anything requiring a single button press doesnt always work. i dont get this in other games.
Can't say I've seen anything like this so far. Granted, I mostly play offline solo.

However, I've played at least 8-10 runs with my brother. Sometimes he's been hosting, sometimes I have. The ping between us is about 50, too. Neither of us has experienced any sort of stuttering or rubberbanding (or unresponsive button presses).

Hmm thanks all, sorry to hear it! Will pass this note on to one of our devs
I had this the other day while playing with someone. It kicked me the session, but still in the group. Then rejoined me (was near the end of a run) with my weapons/armor, but removed ALL of my perks/upgrades lol.

I only try coop 2 times and join some Europe room, both times with lag and dsync, hard to play and not fun at all because of this.

Can confirm that 99% of the games I have joined were always laggy at the moment I was last alive and it was unplayble I was teleporting all over the room and GG.

As the host you have no lag obviously, your joiners do.
