They need to rework rerolls very hard, and honestly just remove the cap on rerolls altogether. Make it exponentially more expensive to reroll the same weapon so you can brute force a build if necessary, and then you just wind up sinking all your scrap into it. That's a completely reasonable tradeoff.
Runs just aren't long enough to justify trying to get a legendary level 10 primary of the correct elemental type in the current system.
They actually drop the weapon youre holding when you purchase another and roll on it
Nah this wouldnt work - there are 9 perks around sharing other weapons procs with other weapons (Ie "your primary has 20-100% change to proc your secondary's effect")
