Prophecy games has put out 2 games in the last 4 years, Starsiege Deadzone which was abandoned in '24. it's assets, skins and map gen are now used as the new game Deadzone Rogue , Tribes 3 abandoned in '24. NONE of the games ever left Early Access

anyone can make a new game, but nobody can know if its a good game or not till they release it.

and this game may use assets from their previous.. But it doesn't mean it can't do good.

the fact they didn't give you offline single player is because they don't plan to keep the game longer then 1-2 years. The fact Prophecy games had multiple dlc and founders packs, and currency packs for before Starsiege Deadzone was out of early access should be a Red flag.

Here are the facts Starsiege Deadzone, Prophecy games first cash grab was released Jul, 18 2023. the last update for the game was Sept. 28 2023.
Steam removed them from the store Feb. 14 2024 for having negative feedback and player currency backlash.
April 28, 2024 they shut down server due to lower player count on servers. refunds were not given and only players that bought the $180 founder packs were given the new game you are playing now Deadzone Rouge.

Didn't they offer this game for free to people who got that last Starsiege game? Haven't been following the drama, but that at least seems like a nice move. Just cautiously watching this game.

But the gameplay is cool, it's nice to play... well, if they don't develop the game and abandon it, well, it will be sad. But for now I can say that, although it's a bit expensive, it was worth it (for me). I don't regret buying it.
