[Feedback] Option to force/lock UI type
Tl;dr: Please add an option to lock the UI to either gamepad or keyboard icons regardless of what caused the latest input.

This is primarily an issue when it comes to specialty peripherals (I personally use an Azeron which is why this is an issue for me), but it's also a sort of constant issue as well for those who use gamepad for actual playing but then reach to keyboard to type out communication. The Azeron in particular has a joystick on it that can be read as joystick input for true 360-degree motion, but has buttons all over it that function as keyboard inputs on that same hand to leave the other hand open for mouse-based precise aiming. This means the UI is constantly unsure whether it should show xbox UI elements or keyboard UI elements and constantly swaps between the two.

*Usually* this functionality is a good thing but certainly not in my case. If there was somewhere in the options to make it always show PC keybinds or always show gamepad keybinds on the UI elements to prevent this constant swapping, it would be a really small but nice quality of life update.

Does your Azeron work in-game? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get it to work with this game. Do you have any suggestions?

Don't know anymore, but at least in the demo, I got it to work. What seems to be the issue?

The biggest issue I've seen when getting it to work is to make sure no other gamepads/controllers are plugged in when you turn on your computer. The game is *very* picky about what it considers first-player, and anything other than first player just won't be picked up by the game when it comes to the thumbstick. Any other dedicated gamepad tends to eat up the first-player slot if one is plugged in upon starting up your computer.
Thank you for your reply. I'm able to use the Azeron to move around, but I can't use the mouse at the same time. So, the Azeron itself works, but I cannot aim with the mouse. I don't have any controllers plugged in so I'm thinking the game doesn't support dual input. This would be a great game to use the Azeron with so I'm kind of disappointed.
That's odd because in the demo at least I was able to make it work just fine other than the aforementioned "first player" conflict and the point that started this thread about the flickering UI elements between each button set (which was more aesthetic than function).

They might have changed something in the full release, or perhaps something in your steam controller settings for the game? Not sure.
