Post pics of your ship please.
Currently, Blight seems to have targeting priorities completely reversed, preferring piloted T1 ships while ignoring parts scattered and abandoned on the ground.
I'm currently running with a slightly stretched design with 3 engines, 2 sails, 7 storage barrels and 4 fuel tanks and no extra panelling/decoration. This makes me a Blight magnet for some reason.
All a bubble means is you are not going to float away, can use the build tool on parts, and on PvE nobody can come in and salvage while you work.
I'm staying the hell out of the game until Blight gets handled.
Ive done it twice today, so I dont know why it worked for me.
I escaped without damage from the centre of it - without being docked.
So the mechanic might be broken –
To the point where, in some cases, the VFX is not accompanied by the ‘clean-up’.
Whilst obviously, in other cases wholesale destruction ensues for no good reason.
Either way it’s a game-breaking ‘workaround’ for a system which is not up to the task at hand.
Look its an issue , but there is no way you 24 x 6 hours before getting through the storm wall. Also I think ( again ) you are playing solo. This is do able but the game is MUCH harder doing so.
Or, stop logging in. Did you forget that even more helpful piece of advice for people who don't want to lose their work and are already using 8 characters to ALT-DOCK their in game ship assets during this current coding cluster feck. <-- please note the IRISH WORD which is not the Engrish censored word because i don't want another lame moderator warning.

We make ships that are specifically, low part count, low deck count, low panel count. And we have done this since before you re-tuned blight.
- 21 panels (aluminium)
- 21 deck plates (aluminium)
- 8 wings (epilar Q10)
- 14 engines (epilar Q10)
Somehow the current mechanic was deemed okay for destroying peoples content.
One thing you don't seem to get at Bossa is this: User Generated Content == Time + Effort + frustrations. I've been making content in games since 2003 - If you want to depopulate your game quickly, do a squat job like blight on peoples hours of labour and watch you get in return.
Bossa's actions completely monkey poop all the positive efforts put forth by much of the user base.
We can't login and do much without fear of losing our hard work.
We can't login and resource harvest.
We can't login and build.
We can't login and assist alliance.
We can't login and have fun.
We can't login.
Until this utterly retarded, non-thought out mechanic, created by a developer who does not play the game nor respect the investment of the player-base, is adjusted in a way to make them game not a gamble when stepping off your ship I'm done.
I've purchased 9 copies of this game, now have 3 steam keys, and I can't offer a single key to anyone without wasting their time because whatever they do will be destroyed by blight until it is fixed.
We can definitely give our 16hr+ game days to a different development studio that will respect our time and content.
Anthem on February 15th. (OMG WTF WHEN CONSIDERING ELECTRONIC ARTS, but thats what it has come to.)
Generation Zero on March 26th.
Worlds Adrift - uninstalling WA if Blight is not fixed by then.
The game has lost ALL of its major PvP crews/alliances to ATLAS.
Anyone else frustrated and seeking entertainment will be jumping ship at the newer games releasing.
@Eternz - way to shoot the project in The Face, again.
I've done my "good time" in the forums assisting and keeping it positive in support of the game, but we have all been exposed to the children's story book: EMPERORS NEW CLOTHES, for a reason.
Honestly, that sort of advice is just unprofessional , poorly thought out, and inconsiderate of the realities at hand in the game world you develop.
I have no respect for a development team or project that literally has no respect for the effort of the user base and content created.
We did it in under 90 minutes after v.27 was live after wipe.
