I am only about half joking. It is really too bad so few people are taking advantage of the tools Blender offers to make little games. I have no idea why the people who work with 3d art are willing to pay for open source tools, but people who play games are not.
If this kind of thing interests you, feel free to drop into my Discord[discord.gg]. There is nothing serious happening there yet, but it is one of my lasting video game related interests to get more people interested in making games using Blender or some other open sourced game engine, so if we were to gather enough people to begin to form a plan and a way forward, that would be cool.
most other games "grapple hooks" either directly connect you from you to a point, and instantly reel you in
or you can only connect to pre-determined spots with linear swings
thats why the mechanic in this game seems so fresh and new...... because it is.
This is the best spiderman game we never had.
