What's the point of just Thanos snapping the whole damn game out of existence?

At least give the community the source code, devkits, whatever, and let US keep the dream alive.

It just seems a bit scummy to simply scrap the game after so many people dragged this game through early access hell just to never see any of the bigger complexities they were promised come to fruition.

Man I just wish this didn't happen. I put in a refund request, apparently it should be accepted, just not instantly.

No point in giving source code, players couldnt run their own servers, game is built from the ground up using SpatialOS, which isn't free or even cheap. No way whatsoever of players setting up their own servers unless you spent thousands to rent space on SpatialOS yourself, which most likely isn't even possible.
