Stuck at Grade 2 Boss

Playing Forgiving, maxed out interceptor, getting destroyed during phase 2...

The boss is an insane leap in dificulty compared to everything else...
Any tips and tricks?

Do not use a plasma weapon for this boss or focus too much on plasma skill damage.
Focus on avoiding the lasers and try to have a good magnetic resistance for the bullets of the boss (they are all blue).
You should have a repair and a bubble skill if you struggle. Also single impact is a must have if you have difficulties to survive.

Ok so I switched to a physical gun and it worked better... It's sad though that there is nothing in the game that tells you that plasma is bad for this guy. I don't even remember the game telling me what color is associated with what damage type... while looking into my skills I found that red is associated to plasma... and all this time I thought it was green, and that red was simply the color of the retaliation bullets... or all retaliation bullets plasma?

Also, using mouse support really helped... I love to play with my controller, but for game like these, precision is key, and controller is not precise enough. Thanks for adding Mouse support.

Blue damage numbers on enemies = resistance for this type of damage.
All retaliations bullets are plasma indeed.
