sell ship?

how do you sell your ship? i keep seeing it mentioned during loading screens but im not sure how? do i need more than one ship?

Open the change ship menu (under your active ship in the hangar)
In the list of ships, there's a button on the right of each tab to sell it.

No you don't NEED more than one ship. But there are uses to have several active ones like having a ship dedicated for loot & credit farming and another ship for maximum damage.

Before you sell your ship, be sure you have enough credits to buy another one and upgrade it to a decent level of stats.

the dev states in his comment that i dont need more than one ship to sell it... unless they saw that part of my question as seperate from what i was asking which as im looking at it seems to be the case XD, guess ill just buy a 1k ship then sell my current one
