Really? It's definitely going on my wishlist in that case, loved that game.
Galactic Inheritors is an original game entirely designed from scratch but of course the great classics like Spaceward Ho!, Master or Orion or Galactic Civlization have been inspirations along the way.
Chris, our lead designer and creator of the game, and Pontus our lead Developer, indeed have a long past at paradox. Chris was the lead designer of Crusadar Kings II and Europa Universalis IV amongst others.
Chris, Pontus and I will be very present on these forums going forward so please feel free to interact and engage in the discussion in the month to come.
Cheers

And learn from them. Too many games come out these days that dont have a special ingredient to make you want to play them. Endless Space just missed the mark but it was quite good - smooth and stylish but not enough heart and soul in the end. Space Empires 4 and Stars! are two of the best space 4x games I have ever played. I never played Moo2 unfortunataley.
Certainly this game will be on my radar, some talented people involved - but I dont buy Early Access games any more but when its finished ...
