Setting custom units to a kingdom
Is there anyway to do this? I spent days setting up tuns of characters all set up in units for their empires. with all their proper banners and soliders. but it doesnt seem there is a way to load them in to a custom scenrio. other then the one im currently controlling.

I guess what im asking is if there is a way to set the banner for a kindgom im not controlling? or am I destined to always fight against blank banner kingdoms? I could have sworn you could apply custom units to kingdoms in the last game. because as far as I can tell I can apply each officer one by one. but it wont let me edit that kindgoms banner.

unless its the one im playing as :[ this is very disapointing.

I looked for that option too, but AFAIK it's just possible to choose your unit for Empire mode as quick choose. I would have loved to set up all my units in a custom scenario. It' still possible (choosing all officers single picked) but without their custom soldiers and banners it's a little annoying.

why wouldn't they let you do that. thats so disapointing. i thought that was the whole point of letting you make several custom units.

I still hope they patch some of this stuff to the game, alltogether with HD textures, possibility to choose the way of life for your officers like on X1 and PS4, etc...

I doubt they will. do they normally do any work updating stuff with patches in Dynasty warriors games? i figured they would just try and fix it in the next game.

They are working on a patch ATM.

alright thanks! guess I just have to sit on my hands with all they custom units till the patch comes out. hopefully they will add this in. I can't believe it wasn't a function to begin with.

well looks like they did what we wanted in the patch. now i just need to figure out how to name the kingdoms.

yeah i figured it out. for some reason there was a glitch and it named all my kingdoms the same name.

custom soldiers and banners are not showing in my custom scenairo. I've added my custom units with their unique soldiers and banners, but during game I only see the default soldier colors and banners. Anybody else getting this issue?

you have to be sure your loading them in as that unit. there is a button for it. if you already did that and its not working I had a similar glitch. it said all the units were from the same kingdom. I just remade the scenerio and it worked that time. I dont know what the issue was but that fixed it. I guess just try remaking the scenerio again and see if it was glitched.
