Hard to be evil?
Is it just me, or is it hard to be evil, and stay evil? I don't understand how people get the wolf in sheeps' clothing title when a lot of things give you good virtue. I've dropped to -2 before, don't know what number(xxxx) but as soon as I get into a kingdom, it starts to go up. I construct something so I have access to strategems, and I get plus points. I invite Lu Lingqi so I can marry her, I get plus points. Before long, I either accumulate enough plus points to go -1 or worse, rebound right into neutral.

Or does evil not like company? So you don't recruit people or invite officers, marry whomever fancies you, even if it's Mr. Numbnuts common officer and just unlock everything before you start so you don't have to construct anything? Oh, and don't accept promotions past officer so you can keep doing evil quests?

I must be missing something here.

Execute everyone and levy everything!
Pillage works best, do that for 8~9 month and you will be at bottom of the pit. Plus it gives you lots of needed materials and golds.
It is actually harder to stay good in this game since there is fewer and slow option to rise it.

Assasination missions and pillage/plunder are the best ways to tank your virtue, if youre a ruler, then the levy options are usually really good to tank your virtue

If you're under a ruler, sabatage will knock you down real quick.

Pillage, I forgot about that! Thanks, I'll go try that next round!

You get a crap ton of resources to use each time too. Just for fun I used what I gained to completely turn my officer's life around after getting Husk of Evil into a complete saint.

Being evil as a vegabond or officer is pretty simple, and in fact makes things faster due to better rewards and faster quests. The "only" penalty is that you won't be recruited by NPC officers, which isn't a big deal if you are already an officer or have your own vegabond unit.

Being evil as a prefect, marshal, strategist, or ruler pretty much demands you do things for the EVULZ. When even recruiting and constructing increases virtue... Yeah.

Being evil is extremely easy. Use Levy (or Mass Levy if you have it) whenever possible, when conquering territories execute everyone you capture (or at least the ones you don't want to recruit, or who refuse you). The +Virtue points from building facilities and inviting people is not nearly enough to counteract the -Virtue you'll get from doing those things.
