Partial Controller Support?

I can't imagine playing this game without a controller (this coming from someone who usually preaches mouse above everything).

How good is the controller support? Can you play most of the game without using a mouse? I'll probably still end up buying the game even if I have to use a mouse, but I'm very curious

worked str8 out with my PS3 controller, had to rebind some keys though..

But to be honest its better with the keyboard imo.

Partial just means not all types of controllers are supported. If you got a standard Xbox 360 pad for example, it will work without problems.The game is completely controllable with a pad alone. Some of the default key bindings are a bit strange for my taste but you can rebind all keys.

Partial not only means that, but it means that for menus n other such actions you need a mouse.
Full Support means all menus n such can be used by the controller with no need for using a mouse or keyboard for accessing menus n so forth.

But yeah, it works fine with a controller i suppose... but i still prefer it with the keyboard.

Okay. Good to know! It's great that a Dynasty warriors is finally for PC! :D

Controllers work, but the key prompts are still keyboard. So it takes some trial and error to figure out what does what. Like the "blank" button is spacebar, which is "start" on the Xbox controller. "Delete" is "Back", "Tab" is "Y", etc.

The "Partial" tag is because the config utility requires mouse/keyboard. The entirety of the game itself apart from the config utility can be done using gamepad only.

(button prompts are unfortunately keyboard-style no matter what, and I don't think menu controls can be rebound on controller)
