Looking for a game guide
i have been playing for about 2 days and there is a lot to the game well worth 50 bucks if you enjoy dynasty warriors. however the amount of questions i have about the game is overwhelming and i cannot find guide anywhere to collect this information, i was wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of a guide.

Some basic questions.
1) Leadership, does this attribute also increase my troop limit for this character?
2) What is a custom unit? is it a pre built custom kingdom?
3) When you start a game you can click R1 and spend battle points to unlock gear, dose this pertain to gear you unlocked in the options with battle points or gear you unlocked during gameplay?
4) Dose anything carry over after winning a campaign? or was that the idea for the battle point system?
5) when i dismiss a officer does it upset everyone or just the one i banished?
6) why do i spend thousands in mass donations but still get uprising
7) how do i move my son to pass since i cannot pass leadership to him by stepping down.
8) Are there secret unlocks to the game or is everything already laid out in a buffet?

some less important questions that make no sense
Why are there less gear options for soldiers then there was for body guards in DW4?
Why can't i have female Amazon soldiers?
Why is split screen limited to invasions & defends, but raids, quests, and uprising only allow one players. Seriously this gets to me. me and a friend were playing together and had all but one land, suddenly uprising for 4-5 months in a row. And now my friend is stuck watching while I play alone.

I have some issues with it but overall i am really happy i own it. but if anyone can direct me towards a guide i would be thankful.

These are very good questions. I would like to find a guide as well. I don't know very much myself:

3) Both I think: you earn points and weapons in play through and then spend them in next game to have access to what weapons you already unlocked.
4) Yes to the Battle Points. Not sure about anything further as I have not yet finished my first campaign.
6) Don't know... that's concerning... are you an evil alignment? (smile face looks evil when looking at character status)

6) nope, i had a huge smily face

no idea then...

1) Leadership increases troup limit by 10 per point. Increases with level and titles.

2) A custom unit is a unit that may appear in other player games if uploaded. Also, you can use it to quickly create a kingdom in the battle of heroes (or whatever name it has…) scenario. Right now, I don't think it has another use than these two.

3) Any Weapon/Item you get during the game will be unlocked. (So you won't have to spend Bonus Point to unlock it.) Therefore, it concerns both.

4) Indeed, bonus points are one of the two things that carries between campaigns. (And with this, weapons, stratagems, etc.) The other thing is the WoL AND the stratagems. For example, if you complete a campaign with a CAW and save it, if you encounter this CAW during further gameplay, it will possess the WoL you got when finishing the campaign (and the matching bonus) with it PLUS most of the stratagems it had when you got the last WoL.

(I don't know how it works… Usually, I have 4 stratagems out of 6 that remains and the two other are given based on the WoL. Something like that.)

It is especially useful if you begin a chaos campaign without any starting bonus, since these officers will have useful stratagems such as bowmen turret, etc. depending on what you gave them.

5) Only the one you banished/executed.

6) I'm not really sure if uprising have something to do with happiness level… I had revolts with every territory in green and a high virtue value if I remember correctly. So I don't really know here.

Try to make an alliance with the concerned vagabon unit maybe?

7) As for spouse and Sworn Brothers, you can't get rid of him.

8) If it's secret, it is so secret that I have not heard about it.

Oi Fuzen, your CAW has been causing me trouble!!
The ♥♥♥♥♥ either forms her own little bandwagon of merry OP douches and wrecks my battle worn armies or then decides to randomly appear in battle to wreck my stratagems, do you know how annoying that girl is on chaos :claugh:

Haha! Yeah I know! Somehow, I experienced that firsthand… xD

Oh man, I would love a guide to this game. Can anyone explain how you get weapons with special attributes - can you only get them as a free officer from quests? Every weapon I go to buy from a weapon forge appears to be blank :/

Gold-star weapons can be obtained by these means :
— Unlock with Bonus Points & Activate at the start of a scenario
— Randomly obtained when dealing K.O. blow on an officer with either a Musou or a rage musou.
— From Quests
— As a gift from spouse/sword brothers/people from a happy territory

I think that is all…

This being said, some common tier 6 weapons are better that the gold stars weapons. For instance, the tier 6 common Flying Swords are awesome but their gold star counterpart aren't. This is due to the fact that most of them possess the velocity AND gale attributes. The first increases the attack speed when the latter increases the damages based on your K.O. counter. With 100+ K.O.s it becomes very destructive.

(Indeed, a guide would be quite useful. ><)
