There's already a Samurai Warriors adaptation, it's not much different from Dynasty Warriors, just different characters.

There's a chinese TV-show called "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"

It's not anime and not really related to "Dynasty Warriors", more so on the source material.

If you want an anime based from the "Romance of The Three Kingdoms"
go find "Sōten Kōro"
it's kinda gory tho.

Well there's anime adaptations of quite a few of Koei's games now, so I can see a Dynasty Warriors anime happening in the future. Until then, in addition to the anime already posted here, there's a more recent one called Saikyou Bushouden: Sangoku Engi (which I've yet to see dubbed in English) and another called Koihime Musou but that features Guan Yu and co as a bunch of underage girls x(

Thought Koihime Mousou was based on a h-game.

EDIT: Confirmed, Koihime Mousou came from a h-game, not from Dynasty Warriors.

Based off an eroge game, based off the Three Kingdoms. I don't think any anime yet has been based off Dynasty Warriors directly

Edit: Then again I'm no anime expert, seen probably, 3 in my life XD
