How do I get this title? Can anyone help please? It's for the Rising Star way of life.

Basically, I followed what some other guide said (wait for the ruler to personally invite you into his kingdom after doing the escort ruler quest). I did that, got promoted to marshal, and got the achievement, but never the title or the way of life.

Is there something I'm missing? I checked and I am still a loyal warrior, so there is no way I somehow skipped a tier or something.

You need to be Free Officer for it to work, not the leader or part of a Vagabond Unit, otherwise it won't work.

But if you were, it should have activated. The only way I can explain for it not activating otherwise is if you have an higher tier way of life already, but you told us you don't, so other than that, and assuming you did way one month for it to activate(It can take a small delay sometimes), it should be good.

Okay I managed to get it work, but not on my first kingdom, but second (I had 2 escort ruler quest). Weird.

You're lucky, I never ever saw an escort ruler quest. I got it by doing something a bit silly, which was serving a ruler who had no strategist or marshal, using "Celebrate" twice to boost his affection to A rank, then leaving. The next month he was begging me to come back and offering me a strategist title.

He was more or less saying: "You're too much trouble, which is why I want your services! I like troublemakers!"

... I think at some point he should have realised I was using the kingdom's money to "celebrate" with him...

You have to do the quest chain to get it.

Also try moving territory for new the new quests. That helps.
