Difference in weapons/movesets between this and Extreme Legends

I noticed that some characters in this game have different weapons/movesets compared to Extreme Legends. Is there a list anywhere of all the changes? I couldn't find info on that on the web. Are the Extreme Legends weapons/movesets that have been substituted unused on Empires?

All the weapons from D8XL are in Empires if you want to use them for created officers.

The weapon changes are

Sun Quan who uses a different sword than generic officers
Lianshi who now uses dual crescent blades instead of a crossbow
Wang Yi uses threaded daggers instead of her trisula
Liu Shan uses a bench (dumb) instead of a rapier
Yueying uses her DW6 bladed arm crossbow instead of her pick-halberd
Guan Suo uses boots instead of nunchaku
Deng Ai uses a mechanical spear-lance thing instead of his drill
Meng Huo uses his DW6E stone pillar instead of the gauntlets

That's exactly what I wanted to do, to use the now unused weapons on my created officers so that they feel a bit more original. Thanks a bunch Saelune *bows*

if you wanna make people even more unique keep an eye on some of the weapons EX attacks. some actually still retain the option to choose some EX attacks from DW7E. exsample would be the rapier. you have the choice to use the liu shan 2 EX moves from DW8 but theres also a Sima Shi EX attack and Yuan Shao EX attack selectable. another 2 exsamples are the pike with xu huangs buff and the gauntlets getting Ding Fengs old EX attack. theres a bunch of others but i cant quite remember them all. also theres a few old musous like cao ren's mace chain one where he swings it around and slams it on the ground

Ok so when I have more options for EX attacks can I assume that the first one is the original one for DW 8 while the other ones are from previous games? I haven't played much of DW 7 to recognize the moves.

ok i decided to have a little look. this is a list of all the old ex attacks and musous. many of them are used by the new weapons TBH but there are some unique ones out there
Dao Blade - Cao Cao (ice arrow volley) , Sun Jian (Fire Slash) , Sima Zhao (Surfing)
Iron Fan - Da Qiao (Comet) , Generic (Dont think generic use fan anymore? spins the fan 360)
Gloves - Ding Feng (Explosive Rocks)
Rapier - Yuan Shao (Volley Of Arrows) , Sima Shi (loads of slashes)
Nunchaku - Ling Tong (some sort of slam with foot then hits with nunchaku)
Twin Axes - Pang De (does some sort of whirlwind )
Staff - Yue Ying (Lighting Attack)
Flail - Cao Ren (Drains Life) , Dong Zhuo (trip and neck snap)
Fan - Sima Yi (does a shockwave like attack) Zhuge Dan (Lighting Attack)
Twin Swords - Lu Xun (Spins swords) , Cao Pi (Ice Attack)
Club - Huang Gai (Grab) , Generic Club (again like fan dont think generics use it anymore. a hammer like slam)
Pike - Xu Huang (Buff Defense)
Spear - Jiang Wei (360 Electric Spin)
Bow - Xiahou Yuan (Arrow Rain)
Great Sword - Xiahou Ba (Shoots Lighting)
Shamen Rod - Pang Tong (Breaths Fire)
Chain And Sickle - Gan Ning (Grab Move)
Throwing Knives - Zhurong (Throws Fire Dagger?)
Short Pike - Unique (Shockwave)

Musous
ThunderClap and Electic Storm (Xiahou Ba Greatsword Musous)
Grand Fissure (Club Generic)
Chi Blast (Fan Generic)
Cascading Falls (Cao Ren Flail Musou)
EarthSplitter and WhiteFlash (Short Pike Unique)
Fire God Dance (Old Zhurong Throwing Knives Musou)
Flowing Talismans (havent seen any generic use this Generic Cards)
Rings Of Fire (Old Gan Ning Chain and Sickle Musou)
Flaming Stones (Old Ding Feng Gloves Musou)
Finally theres also a diffrent Generic Cards rage attack)

all the ex attack movesets only have 1 move as opposed to 2 since they were absent in DW8 , i didnt include the original users to any of this list
