Patch Version - PC vs PS4 Features
Sorry, but I've Googled and searched forums and threads everywhere. I'm on the verge of picking this up, but I can't tell if the PC version and PS4 version are on the same patch, or if one is missing features/has features that the other doesn't.

I know about the graphical fidelity difference (PC version being a PS3 port roughly, and PS4 version looking better, but PC running 60fps no frame drop), but the deciding factor is whether or not one is more up-to-date than the other.

If anyone could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it. As I said, I've scoured Google, forums, and patch note logs to try to piece it together, but I'm either missing something or not finding it.

To the best of my knowledge, all four versions of the game (Playstation 3, Playstation 4, XBox One, and PC) are running with the same feature set now with the specific exception of Online Multiplayer (which to the best of my knowledge is NOT available on PC, but is also only available in certain cases anyways on the platforms that have it). You're not missing out on anything significant by buying the PC version over another version.

This. There's no online multiplayer for the PC version, but considering that multiplayer is only possible for battles where you can assign more than one playable warrior (i.e. invasions, defensive battles, basically any time you (or your ruler) can set up warriors (and thus activate co-op and select player 2's warrior) prior to entering battle preparation), it's not really a huge loss, and local multiplayer is still possible (preferably with two controllers to avoid the hassle of attempting to adjust controller settings to force a controller to always be P2).

Since all of them are pretty much the same game by this point (especially in the case of available DLC, most likely), it somewhat comes down to which version you'd prefer. Also depends on whether or not lack of online multiplayer (regardless of how much or how little it's actually used) is going to be a dealbreaker.

Thank you both for your thorough replies! You've answered everything I needed to know. At this point, due to price, it looks like I may go with the PS4 version (as much as I prefer PC gaming for the superior experience/loads/mods).

It isn't the topic title, but if anyone happens to check in here and is willing to message me or comment on how Samurai Warriors 4 Empires compares to Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, I'd appreciate it
