I know that Flying General gives you a higher chance to be elected as Marshal. Same for the intellect Ways of Life.
You don't really carry over your acquired WoL in your new playthrough, unless that CAW is an NPC.
If you want a fast marshal uprank, just Join Battles as a Free Officer with the Ruler in your joining side as a participant. If the Ruler NPC notices you after your 500 kills, you'd either be offered a Marshal Rank or a Prefect (if that kingdom's hadn't any).
That or complete a chain quest as a Free Officer.
This, and I'm pretty sure that you can also be promoted to a Marshal if you complete mostly battle-focused objectives (such as winning an Invasion or performing a successful Raid) as a Prefect (while Strategist needs mostly strategic/political objectives, such as successfully spreading rumors or successfully forming alliances/making supply requests).
But yeah, only Famous Officers/Normal Officers/custom characters that are NPCs in a scenario will have their default/set Way of Life, while the character you use for a scenario ALWAYS starts off with Ordinary Man, regardless of their default/set WoL.
Only real advice I could give you would be to use a trainer or something, but then you wouldn't be doing it legit, would you?
s trick ;_;
I meant a trainer that gives you money, XP, etc. Might make it easier to grind.
where is it? where is it? name please
Yeah we need to know, mate.
All in all, it is a nice and complex puzzle, and since I love the game to death, I really liked getting that achievement, as well as all the others (except the 10,000 stratagem kills, that's just dumb)
Pretty sure the stratagem achievement doesn't have to be done in one playthrough. Just have to get 10,000 total stratagem K.O.s within your entire play time. But yeah, it's annoying how long it takes, since stratagems don't seem to get a good number of K.O.s even on the highest spawn settings.
You are indeed right, but it still took me about 5 playthroughs of spamming Explosions every chance I got... That's one thing I love about this game, the achievements are all very fun to get, very challenging, except this one which is just tedious.
