Why do I have to resign in when linking my steam account... I have never had to do that with any other game.

Removed it, getting sick of nonsense like this, I use steam to avoid having to log into all these other accounts. Your game should automatically acquire and use my already logged into steam account.

The optics of this are making me think a free game wanting me to log into my steam account on their server... SCAM...

it never ask you to login to your steam account. you are already logged into that. all you do is click a button to use it to link to the game and start playing. It’s literally no different from other games that has a login button like path of exile or any other online games.

you are likely confusing the option to link steam account with an existing Milky Way Idle account with what you are saying. that’s for people who play the game off steam to link their game account to steam. it’s completely optional and not what you need to click if you are a completely new player
