Some comments/questions:
"During fullmoon, Woodie is forced into a random transformation (once per fullmoon), and the Were-Meter drains at half the speed."
If you are already in a were-form when full moon starts, do you stay that way or get a new transformation?
"Woodie no longer gains sanity when planting trees."
"Woodie no longer needs to eat wood."
Butbut, his name is Woodie! At least keep one or the other. :) Or let him gain something from eating wood, to explain his (nick)name. :)
Looking forward to checking the new Woodie out, been ages since I played the old one.
добрый день
1)No more log meter, and consequently, no eating wood which was incredibly ridiculous imo.
2)The increased chance of getting a tree guard just because of how much sense it makes.
3)Limited time to revert to normal form, just so you don't go completely insane in a desert where you can't find trees to help you.
4)Removal of sanity gain when planting trees, as lumberjacks like to cut trees specifically, and also as a fair trade-off for all the other bonuses.
What I'm interested to test:
These idols and monster meat transformation triggers. This concept is all-new and cannot be reviewed just upon reading about it: however, it seems very interesting and I would love to see it in action.
What I'm skeptical about:
1)"Reduced" sanity drain while in were-form. Since this was the biggest problem with Woodie in the first place, this reduction should be considerable, or maybe the sanity drain should be completely removed. This argument will definitely be rethought after reviewing it in-game.
2)The other "were-forms". Unless they tie in with Woodie's personality or mechanics, these other forms (which I assume are based off of other animals) wouldn't make sense at all as the idea of him turning to a beaver specifically originated from him being a trigger happy lumberjack.
All in all, I am very excited to see what Klei has in store for us. It seems they always aim to please. Thanks a lot guys!
