Don't starve turning Chinese?

May someone explain to me, why Don't Starve Together's name is turning into Chinese when trying to search it up on the workshop? It took me a good while to figure out that the Chinese symbols are actually DST.

Is it because of all the Chinese slop that's on the workshop? All the bad anime characters? Or different chinese mods that are produced in the thousands?

I have the steam language set to polish, but still the game name is in Chinese. I don't know how to post an image, so I'll just put an imgur link here

Using English language, Don't Starve Together is also in Chinese. Very strange.

i like to think theres some dude in china making this exact same post complaining about the game showing up in english and the western fans that post english slop in the workshop and english mods in the thousands

I mean, almost all games are set to English no matter where they're made.
Minecraft was made in Sweden, but it's in English
Dying light is Polish, but it's in English
Farcry is German, but it's still in english

I doubt anyone from a different country complains that it's in english, even if you're from the country the game was made in

Klei is a Canadian company, so It's even more suprising that there's so much Chinese, low quality mods there.
It's really strange for me to just look for some mods and there is not a single page where I won't find a Chinese, overpowered, anime character with like 0 star rating

And it's even weirder when the whole game name is turning chinese when trying to search it up on the workshop
Especially that the game name is never translated into different languages.

Afaik Klei is 100% owned by Tencent.
