Yes, but it's an autosave.
The server saves every day, I think it saves as night turns to day, so at the start of ever day.

If you leave the server, all your items will be saved, so when you come back you still have your inventory. However if the server is still open when you leave, the items in game might disappear due to someone else taking them.

When the host leaves and the server closes, the server is saved as it was, so that when you come back all your progress is still there.

I can never continue my previous game. I've had to restart maybe 8 or 10 times already. I would click the "disconnect" button each time and it doesn't seem to save anything.

When I come up to the main menu screen of the game there is no continue button so I click "host game" (because no other option that I click is viable) and then under the tab "Server Settings" I click "Resume World".

This brings me to a completely new map. My items are reset as if its a brand new game and its as if I've never built anything before or unlocked any tools. Anything I built or items I picked up previously are nowhere to be found, because, like I said, new map. I have discovered nothing.

Someone please help me.
