Can't connect to Klei's servers?

Could anyone help me, I just bought DST and I launched it, pressed PLAY and then said cant connect to Klei's servers. Though it says Steam: Online in the upper left corner.
Is there any possibility that I need to make a Kleis account or something like that?

Please anwser ASAP!!

You do need to make an account with them which happens in-game, the email verification takes a while though (10-15min). Also the servers will be down from time to time because its still beta mate!

It should ask you for your email when you first start the client.

I'm not sure why you can't connect to servers, but we should assume it'll only ask you to make an account as soon as you have. I'm connected now, so...

I can't verify my email. When I shall play multiplayer game I need to verify my email. I get my email from Klei but when I click the link to verify email it says link is invalid. I have tried several times by now but nothing works. Can you please fix this asap, as we have payed for a game which doesn't work. Yes, I understand it's beta, but I can't even host/join a game because of this issue.

I went to the klei site and made a profile through steam and I reopened the game and still get the same error

i am having the same problem. I just bought the game. I own DS single player before and i think it assumed that i already had an account but I did not and i wont ask me to do anything like putting an email in. very frustrating

it is its a fun game but if i cant get on and play then its pointless to have and my friend just wasted money cause it was for me and him to play at a team to see how we can work out lol
