Straw Roll Bug?
Could not sleep in straw roll to fix sanity because sanity was low enough to show creatures. Willow stated "can't sleep now. there is fighting to be done." no danger was lurking, and hounds were set to none. Does sleeping with the straw roll no longer fix sanity?

There is a bug in the game which prevents you from sleeping if hounds were set to none. Sorry about that.

The shadow creature, even not hostile, stop you from sleeping. That was always like that...
You had to sleep BEFORE they spawn... raise it in an other way until the shadows
despawn... or until they are far enough to sleep.

"When there are neutral Crawling Horrors or Terrorbeaks near a Tent or Siesta Lean-to, it will prevent the character from using these structures. The same will happen if a character is going to use a Straw Roll or Fur Roll. "

Okay, good to know. Is there any validity to the other comment posted? [being incapable of sleeping in the roll if the shadow creatures have already appeared] I've never experienced this issue in Don't Starve and I'm only experiencing this issue because of other in game issues, which caused my charater to repeatedly whack a pengull instead of digging up a sapling. The attack command never appeared and my cursor was not even near the pengulls.

There is a lot of good information on the don't starve wiki but it's not perfect, and therefore if it has not happened to me before, I do not take it as 100% accurate. Furthermore, this is DST Beta.
