dont starve together for gog

hey there helpfull stranger
i know you might say that i should post this on the gog fourms insted but bare with me
as far as i can tell dont starve together is only available for steam users so far while i happend to have bought dont starve on gog
my main question is
1.will this be relased for gog users as well and if yes is there a set date?
2.if not suposing i was to purchase dont starve on a steam and while i would rather not have to buy it again it is an acceptable course of action my main problem however is was i to do so will i be able to transfer my save files/unlocked charcters and such? as i have spent a bit of time and would hate to lose all that progress :/

Don't starve is in beta that's why it is only on steam, to limited the people with
and the risk od problem other then the game himself.

It is possible dst will be in gog BUT if they do, that won't be before the end of the beta.

Steam is getting it first, but they plan to add the rest of us later.

I bought Don't Starve from GOG and I've been regularly looking for this for a while now. This happened to show up in my Googling right below the answer on their forums so I thought I should drop a link to that here.
