Mod reccomendations.

Hi i'm looking for some mods, nothing too fancy, complicated (and in english, because it's my only language, thank you)
I'm looking for mods that add in new content, perhaps new monsters, events, etc cave expansions would be nice.
I would be open to character mods, but I exclusively play wolfgang/maxwell for their resource harvesting capabilities, and high damage output for wolfgang. I don't care for much else so, if you know of character mods that are similar to wolfgang/maxwell lmk
I'm also looking for tech mods. tech mods like you see in minecraft, such as gregtech, thermal expansion and mekanism. Automation, processing, all that fun stuff, Is there a mod like that out there?

I'm not a bid mods enthousiast, but there the "uncompromising" mode that is popular. It's like a calamity mod for don't starve, adding new mechanics, content, biomes and bosses. It make the game much harder too.
