wobys drying rack not working

I had a weird feeling about this. Meat wasn't actually-drying, only a slow rot while Woby is small. I haven't gotten to try while she's in her large form yet.

The drying rack only works when Woby is large. That's just how it works. So keep her fed to keep it working.

where did you find this information? its not in game and i couldnt find it online either. i had to figure it out on my own. if it is an intended feature they should explain this in game since you have access to the drying rack slots regardless of wobys size.

if this is intended we shouldnt even be allowed to put meat on his small form, I was confused if he just had a time multiplier in small form, but if it straight up doesnt work it just is player unfriendly, I dont think anyone will miss the 3 free meat inventory spots

this game already has a big enough issue to need outside sources for knowledge anyway

I found out the drying rack works only when Woby is large by experimenting. Pretty quick and easy to find out on your own if you just try a few different things.

so it is more than likely a bug unless someone else has found information from the developer that states otherwise. it doesnt even work all the time in her large form. i had meat on the rack for over 3 days and it never turned until i took it out and put it in again. do the developers have a log for updates? the information at https://forums.kleientertainment.com/game-updates/dst/ is not very helpful. i assume they want players to figure stuff out on their own. the biggest problem with that is there is no way to tell the difference between bugs and features.

Understandable but also the slots are there to prevent the meat from spilling on the floor when woby gets small.

I think it was mentioned in one of beta patch notes so yea it was super easy to miss and no explanation ingame othen than trial and error - unless i missed something.

what do you mean visually see? the rack and the slots for its inventory are both visible regardless of size so you cant mean either of those visual clues.

Perhaps the words "Not Drying" can be added to the small Woby menu screen.

No reason to fight over this, either it's a kind of poorly communicated feature that has a few tells to let you know, but no statement of functions; or it's a bug.
