Graphics Error - Error processing Render buffer command CreateVB

so I was going to play some don't starve together with some of my friends when I joined the server I went into full screen mode like on does. When I did that the game crashed so I just thought I could close and reopen the game but when I did that it went black screen and a little box poped up saying Graphics Error
Error processing render buffer command CreateVB

Ive been trying to fix this all day and have got no were nor can I find any help about this online if you know how to if this please help

well there are many possible issues on the forum.... and no clear solution.

disable fullscreen
small textures on
specs
drivers
who knows.

Hey there. So if you go to the steam forums, like you have, or Klei, they will all say just change the settings.ini file to shift to small textures or turn off full screen. In my case, editing settings was irrelevant because it was already set to small textures on. Two things:

1. Going to fullscreen off did help, but it was annoying because once the game actually did load, a) if I switched to full screen it would go all black; you could hear the sounds of the buttons but not have a clue what you were doing and b) you have to deal with two giant toolbars at the top and bottom of the screen, which actually can interfere with game play, especially if you're trying to get an item from inventory.

Download it. Install everything. You don't even have to restart. Cheers.
