Pls add couch / local multiplayer for PC

I would love to play it with my partner on the couch but streaming it via SteamLink from my PC to our Raspberry Pi in the living room does not provide local multiplayer.

Afaik, a local multiplayer mode is possible on Nintendo Switch and maybe others.

This might also interessting for SteamDeck users who play together via the docking station.

There are a few, third party software programs, that you can use to enable split screen on PC.

This is the top one that came up in a basic websearch:

Yes, I know but I would prefer not to use any thirdparty program for this.

Since they have integrated this mode for other plattforms part of the work is already done.

It is sad that even controller support is not working. The standalone Don't Starve fully supports controllers.

So sad that they dont invest some time to make a couch version out of Don't Starve Together for PC when so much is already done.
