During that time, you can try and revive yourself so that you prevent the world from resetting (and you can get your items back). There are a few different ways to revive:
- Haunting a Life-Giving Amulet that is on the ground (You can get this amulet by either finding it when digging a grave, or crafting it in a Prestihatitator)
- Using a Meat Effigy (Which you can craft with Beard Hair using a Prestihatitator, so it's easier to get if you're Wilson)
- Haunting a Touch Stone (They spawn naturally in the world, and can only be used once)
You can also set the mode to Endless instead, which will prevent the world reset countdown from starting and allow you to revive by haunting the Florid Postern.
Also, since this is Don't Starve Together, you also have the option to rollback a world so that you start in the latest save (the game saves whenever a new day starts, or if you close a server, in case you're hosting it). That can be used to revert deaths and really anything that happened after the last time you saved.
Not everything, but your whole world. But don't worry if you have life giving amulet or found touch stone, you can live through..
