Local Only to Friend Only ?

Hello there....
I recently started playing on my own server with my friend. It was set up on Friends Only... I accidentaly played it in offline mode and now the server is set up to Local Only (Offline mode) .
The problem is that my friend can't connect now since we are not on the same network and the server cannot be switched to any other mods in the settings screen.
Can I switch it back to Online Mode somehow or do I need to create some virtual network now since I don't want to loose stuff on the server ?

I actualy figured it out a long time ago... I think it's the solution I don't remember exactly...
go to your Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether folder and there you'll find the file "settings"
There should be Network settings where you have your server settings...
Change the lan_only_server = true to "lan_only_server = false".
