Do tree stumps regrow?
So I got into an argument with another player about tree stumps regrowing.

I have never seen a tree that's been chopped down regrow.

He said it takes about 4 days for a stump to grow into a tree.

Don't Starve Wiki says tree stumps don't regrow.

Can I get an official answer to this?

Stumps do not grow, because that's silly. Dig up them stumps all you want.

You chop down the tree, plant it's sapplings, and wait for it to grow agian.

Tree's don't grow on stumps. Even in the DS world where edible meatballs can be made with some ice and spider meat, tree's still follow the rules.
