question about beefalo taming

i wanna ask that if i just feed it everyday without riding it ,is it slower to fully tame it ?

I'm pretty sure its the same rate, and more effective to feed it on the first few days instead of riding it. You don't want to only feed it unless you are going for a pudgy Beefalo for some reason.

Same speed. If you want to tame it the feeding way. Either you park it with salt lick and give 3 steamed twigs everyday.

Or you get it to follow you, and feed it 1 or 2 steamed twigs everytime it "beg" for foods. BE CAREFUL that your character will ATTACK a beefaloo without a saddle, even if bonded when you click, so very easy to missclick and screw up.

For the tendency, go for food way the first 10 days, then start riding and work toward the tendency you want to get.
