Low fps in fullscreen mode and how I fixed it (AMD Radeon)

This might be a solution for players suffering from low fps in fullscreen mode despite having a decent pc. Low fps are only present in fullscreen mode, once switching to windowed it is butter smooth.

I had this problem and tried everything. Eventually I found a solution myself and I want to share it here so that other people can try it as well and report back.

My problem was caused by AMD FreeSync. I have it enabled for all games but it seems that DST has a problem with it. Open Adrenaline software, goto Gaming, then open the profile for DST and on the right side below "Display" disable AMD FreeSync.

With this setting I have the same fps in fullscreen as in windowed mode.
