(Solved) 'Apply' action on my controller is showed as 'No Bind'

I had been playing DST on my Macbook with my Logitech controller and It worked fine until the recent update. After updating the game, I can't generate world or apply change because the apply action is showed as 'No bind.' The apply action is used to be the 'Start' button on my controller but now when i press it, nothing happens. I already checked my controller and all button works fine. I guess I have to map my controller for the apply action in DST but there is nowhere in DST setting to set up the apply action. I can't even switch the control selection from Keyboard/Mouse to controller because I can't command the apply action with my controller. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I have the same problem on my MacOS as well. It's really bothering. I am not used to keyboard and mouse. Really hope someone can fix this issue.

We just bought a new copy and all the DLC and everything and then after the recent update this happened for us too. The game is completely unplayable via controller without it. Need a fix ASAP been 4 hot fixes, but non addressing this issue. Is there anyway to get in touch with the developer directly?

My controller finally works!!! I wrote to the developer through Klei Entertainment website and they emailed me. I just Reset Binds using Keyboard/Mouse and then switch the Input Device to controller again and my apply action finally came back. (it's actually strange because I did this before a lot of time but noting happened. I guess they recently fixed the issue). I copied and pasted the email they sent me below incase this method doesn't work for you.

a) Launch DST and navigate to the options screen;
b) In the Setting tab, switch the Input Device to Keyboard/Mouse and choose apply;
c) Navigate to the Controls tab, and click on Reset Binds, then accept the change with the yes button.
d) Back in Setting tab, change your. controller once more to see if that works for you.

If you are not able to do a keybind reset using mouse and keyboard, please try the following steps to fully reset your game's controls to their default values:

1) Launch DST, and on game's main menu screen, press the Tilde key ( ~ ) on your keyboard to bring up the console command line.
2) On the console command line text box, type this code (or copy and paste it):
ResetControllersAndQuitGame()
And then press the Enter key on your keyboard to apply the command line code. This will reset all of your control bindings and settings for the game to their default values and fully exists the game.
3) Launch DST once more and all of your control binds should have been reset to their default setting. This should allow you to play the game once more.
4) Click on Options > Navigate to the Settings Tab > Change your Input Device to your controller > check your controller binds in the Controls tab and these should have been reset.
