"Friends Only" Not Working?
My partner hosted a game and set it to friends only, but a random user still joined. We're playing on our Steam Decks and we felt bad that they were talking to us in chat but we couldn't reply to explain (if it's possible on Deck idk how).

Edit: Found out how to use text chat with Steam Deck after looking at controls. This was our first time playing the game on Deck.

If it was set to "Friends Only", then unless they accidentally changed it during world creation, then the person that joined was someone on their friends list.

My partner only has myself and one other mutual friend on Steam so it definitely wasn't a friend. So either an accident or a bug. We'll give it another shot. Can you view/change what join mode the world is set to while in-game?

I don't believe you can. however, you can simply make a password that you can keep to yourselves. I also believe you could change the player count of the server to just 2, just for extra security. I might be wrong about that though. anyway, all of this should be on the server menu screen before starting the world.

I am pretty sure "Friends only" means their friends, and all the friends of the ones who are playing.
Meaning it could be anyone from YOUR friendlist as well :)
