Boss health scaling
I mean their health is just absurd unless you have like 4 players who know what they're doing, and with all the qol and constant (haha) updates, why hasn't it been made to just scale with the number of players? Yeah there are mods for it but I doubt any of those creators would say no if asked for their work to be put in the game as long as they're credited. It doesn't even have to be on by default just have it be a toggle in world creation or something?

Klei added option to scale how much damage player recieves from enemies.

So honestly they might aswell add a option to scale how much damage player does to enemies too.

Weird that they haven't already added such thing. With all these current options you get to make the game as easy or as hard as you want it wouldn't be out of place.

There is a mod for that.

DST can be played solo, but its not intended to.
The hint is in the title.

And the game also encourages tweaking world settings to your liking to play however you want to. It even legit says in one of the loading screen hints:

"Meddle with World Gen settings in the Options menu to shape a world to your liking."

So there's that.

There are mods that scale boss hp for solo play if that's your thing but the game itself is built around co-op play, and fighting bosses with others.

Since this game encourages co-op, the raid bosses will naturally have a lot of health. I think it's probably not worth it for them to implement this when the majority of player play co-op and the solo players can just use a mod.
