Caves do not work!!!!!

Can someone help me! When i enable the caves when creating a world the world loads and then then the game closes by itself. I can enter a cave in someone elses world though. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm in the same boat. I can't make a world with caves. It just stays at server generating world. No caves works fairly quickly.

I got mine working, I recommand checking your firewall, I had to allow DST to access a port before it worked for me. Good luck!~

Looks like where it's at right now, you can only play a world with caves if the caves settings are default vanilla.

DO NOT ENTER CAVES UNLESS YOU'RE THE HOST IT CRASHES YOUR GAME IF YOU ARENT THE HOST AND YOU ENTER AND THERE IS NO WAY OUT UNLESS THE GAME IS ROLLED BACK TO A SAVE BEFORE YOU ENTERED.

My experiences:

You host with a decent pc with good internet?
Then it should work for you but might not for others depending on pc stability.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc? Will probably crash for you when you load the caves (my experience)

Strong pc and connection? Good to go. For everyone that joins aswell.
