No Suspicious Boulder/Celestial Orb

I need to change my character. In my world, it's day 64 and had meteor shower on this day but still there is no Suspicious Boulder in meteor areas. I keep checking and mining because there is an info on wiki -> "If a Smooth Meteor Boulder has not dropped by day 60 the next meteor shower has a 100% chance of dropping it. Mining all boulders within the meteor field increases the chance of the Suspicious Boulder spawning."

But i'm afraid because i don't want to start a new world because of this..

if you are able to, I would suggest using console commands to spawn yourself a celestial orb.

I would only do this if you had another meteor shower after reaching day 60 and if a suspicious boulder hasn't dropped yet. if it still doesn't show, dunno what could be going on, then. if the game cheats you, then cheat the game back.

granted, this could deem the possibility of your world having two celestial orbs, but that doesn't break your world in any way, although it might trigger any type of OCD you may have.

there could also be a chance that it might've dropped somewhere you may be overlooking, so I'd double and triple check that possibility first if using console commands isn't accessible to you, and/or you're simply uncomfortable with the idea... which I don't see a reason why you should be but to each their own.

The boulder is somewhere in your world and you haven't found it

Sometimes it happens I only got my suspicious boulder after day 100, and I needed to clear meteor biome. If you have the mod 'Too many items plus', you can teleport to the items so you can see if it's spawn or not.

Are you sure that meteor field doesn't spread to nearby biomes? Maybe you have 2 meteor fields?

Are you sure that meteor field doesn't spread to nearby biomes? Maybe you have 2 meteor fields?

Meteor fields do not spread and do not move.

Yes, i have 2 meteor fields and keep clearing both of them but still no suspicious boulder.

Are you sure you searched every pixel of them? They can be quite large, and stretch over rivers.

As far as I know, orb isn't guaranteed on day 60, it just increases chances of spawning.

I play without mods and it happens to me first time. Searched many times every pixel of meteor areas, I guess the boulder dropped into the water there is no more explanation. Thank all you guys for your help.

They actually do, a bit. Since it reached over the river in my world over time.

If you're desperate - you can use console command to teleport yourself next to a suspicious boulder, if it's there. (I personally dublicated the world when I did, just in case.)
If it makes it easier for you - I think in current world I didn't get the orb up intil around day 100 or so.

As I said before the chances of getting one just increases but is never guaranteed. that information from the wiki is false, due to some people that said they got theirs a lot later than day 60 and that also posts pop from time to time on the Klei Forums about people asking for the suspicious boulder to be guaranteed.
I just can suggest you to wait and keep clearing those biomes and to be in those biomes when a meteor shower happens (off screen meteor showers also affect the chances). Or cheat it if you don't want to wait.

No, they don't. Just because it didn't drop things at the furthest reach in the first storm doesn't mean it's growing.

They do move actually when a player is around it and meteor shower happenes.
It's a reason not to base close to it if you run day 100+ worlds.

As for the orb, as far as I know it's guaranteed to spawn by the 3rd meteor shower. Just keep clear of the meteor biome so that it can spawn. Hope that answers
